We are a support group of wonderful families who are
sharing the joys and struggles of raising children while maintaining a
secure attachment. We have support meetings that meet throughout the
month. We also have playgroups, Family Night Outs, Mom's Night Outs and
other fun gatherings.

API is an independent, non-profit Attachment Parenting support group. Attachment Parenting is a philosophy based in the practice of nurturing parenting methods that create strong emotional bonds, also known as secure attachment, between the child and parent(s). This style of parenting encourages responsiveness to the infant or child's emotional needs, and develops trust that his/her needs will be met. As a result, this strong attachment helps the child develop secure, empathic, peaceful, and enduring relationships.
